So he wasn’t invited to the wedding after all

Kelsey Plum and her husband, tight end Darren Waller, are at the center of some heated NFL drama.

It started 11 days ago when, according to The Athletic’s Vic Tafur, Wallers’ Raiders head coach, Josh McDaniels, leaked that the pair were getting married.

That was a big deal considering Plum and Waller’s relationship wasn’t really public, and most didn’t know they were engaged. Yikes.

Fast forward to the wedding day and everything seemed great!

That was until 10 days later, on Wednesday, when Waller was traded from the Raiders (who play in the same city as Plum’s Las Vegas Aces) across the country to the New York Giants.

Former NFL star Robert Griffin III tweeted a lighthearted joke about how coach McDaniels wasn’t a romantic for separating the pair.

And then Plum dropped the bomb.

McDaniels wasn’t invited to the wedding in the first place!

Now everything makes sense.
