No. 8 Ole Miss upsets No. 1 Stanford
In the women’s basketball tournament’s biggest upset to date, the Stanford Cardinal are OUT at the hands of a massive 54-49 Ole Miss upset on Stanford’s own home court.
This is WILD! An upset of this caliber rarely happens in the tournament, and especially not to Stanford. Give loads of credit to the defensive job Ole Miss delivered on.

Stanford isn’t used to this!
This is the first time Stanford will not play in the Sweet 16 since 2007! That’s 14 straight Sweet 16s! That is not a typo!
This is the first time since 2009 (Duke) that a No. 1 seed did not advance to the Sweet 16!
Stanford is just the eighth No. 1 seed to lose in the first or second round in the history of the women’s tourney
Stanford had won 63 consecutive home games against unranked opponents
This is a MASSIVE moment for Ole Miss and their head coach, Yolett McPhee-McCuin (Coach Yo)!
Ole Miss is headed to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2007
Ole Miss busted the final perfect bracket! None remain!
Now here are all the amazing moments you missed.
Coach Yo gave an amazing postgame speech:
"This is for the people with a dollar and a dream. I'm a little girl from the Bahamas given an opportunity" - @YolettMcCuin

Haley Jones may have just played her last college game
The standout Stanford guard won a National Championship and Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament award as a sophomore. She’s projected to be selected in the first round of the WNBA draft.
Set up in horns, hit the snug pick and roll so the defender can't go under the screen, post, fade, bucket
Good stuff from Haley Jones

Ole Miss will play the winner of No. 4 Texas vs. No. 5 Louisville in the Sweet 16
Texas (-8.5) is the favorite to win that game, which will air at 7 pm ET on ESPN on Monday. A $10 bet at BetMGM on Texas to win by nine or more points would earn a $19.52 total payout.
